Hello~ I've decided to switch accounts to magicalunillamapeg.deviantart.… because this account was a shared account that wasn't under my email address and I wanted full control over my own account. I will be reposting some of the same art from this account to my new account, so when I do, if you have favorited my work, please refavorite it on that account, as well as re-watch me. I will add to title of each one "READ DESC" and in the description of each one, "Re-uploading from other switched account" so I don't have issues with people thinking I've stolen my own work.

Thank you~

*this is a re-post of my last journal entry. Just wanted to try out my free one-day premium membership and get this journal skin. I hope it shows up.*

YAY

So, this upcoming February, there's this Japanese Matsuri festival near where I live and I get to go to it!! I don't know if Farah can go or not, but I'm going with my family for sure.

So I originally wanted to make a kimono, because I love kimonos and have wanted an excuse to make one for a long time, but now here's what I'm thinking; a few months ago I designed my own wa lolita. It still has a lot of traditional kimono characteristics while being frilly and amazing, and obviously sporting the famed lolita girly-ness. I'll be posting pictures of the outfit (not costume: lolita is a fashion, not a cosplay) once I'm done with it, and maybe even pictures of the festival itself. And if Farah can go, I might make her something as well. Although, she's not so much into girly stuff, so I might make her a not-as-much-frou-frou wa lolita, or just a traditional kimono.

This will be my hardest and most detailed thing I've made yet, so keep an eye out! I can't wait to show it off. I already have most of the patterns drafted, the only thing stopping me is what colors to make it.

I'm so excited for this festival! The food......*dies* I've heard it's amazing. I love Asian food, so I'm really excited. And who knows? Maybe I'll get up the guts to try sushi. ^^

Now, as for progress on cosplays, Farah and I are kinda confused on what to do next. We made up our own Matryoshkas (which are AWESOME), and those won't be too hard to make. There's also her and my OC's from the anime/manga I'm writing (which reminds me- Farah, don't let me forget to show you the pages I have done!) and I have a few pieces from mine all done. We just need to work on Farah's, and our wings. And tails. And wigs. Well, Farah has hers, but I need to buy and style my wig. THEN- As for MY other cosplays, be expecting more Rin Kagamine, some Gumi Megpoid, Aoki Lapis (I'm REALLY excited for this cosplay, it's coming along GREAT!), and some other stuff. As for Farah, she doesn't really know what she wants to cosplay. She wanted to cosplay Prince Soma from Black Butler, but now I think she's kinda over that anime. So maybe next time she and I get together we'll think of something for her. Well, plus cosplaying is expensive (especially since we're teenagers, and only one of us (me) has a job), so don't be expecting cosplay after cosplay. But be expecting some awesomeness from us in the upcoming months. We are determined to step it up this 2012!

Have a great week! I'll keep y'all updated on future events.

WHY OH WHY

2 min read
Yes, I jumped on the bandwagon. I'm following the millions who have already joined the alliance. I..........am a brony.

Yes, I am addicted to MLP FIM. It's such a kiddie show, but I love it just the same. Why may you ask? Well it all started with a MLP coloring book.... we recently were in Texas and a girl my age who went to the church we attended Sunday had a MLP coloring book with her. I said "Aw, My Little Pony! They're so cute. Rainbow Dash is my favorite." Then later that day came the urge to draw it. Then by golly last night I watched 6 episodes. I'm hooked.

Am I embarrassed about it? A little. Am I proud to be a brony? You know I am.

However I can't skirt the issue that talking about it to others is awkward. Just as one might feel the topic of being an Otaku is uncomfortable to talk about with others.

*sigh*

On other news,it's December! We can finally listen to Christmas music without it being (by my standards) too early! WOOTNESS. Now what to ask for Christmas.... P:

Toodle-oo
